So, anyone else watched this yet? The audio is atrocious. Volume levels are all over the place and possibly the most inconsistent I have heard on Blu-ray, and there is hiss throughout. Transfer fairly damaged and not great either.

It's not too hot, is it? In fact it sounds just like one of those shot on videotape efforts like Crazy Fat Ethel 2.

And it's a shame because, even with the print damage, it looks acceptable.

Barely, but yes, it is watchable.

The DVD of Bloodfight has better audio, and comparable picture (but is heavily cropped and is NTSC->PAL).

Ugh, shame about the cropping on that.

Against my better judgement, I've still got Sabotage and Blast pre-ordered. Should probably cancel them both right now, but I really wanna see how they turn out.

I remember Ironheart being utter rubbish...

But Bloodfight was quite decent. A Hong Kong production made by Japanese in English!

So any more info on the DVD (why no BD?) and the cropping?

The BBFC list the 101 Films submission as 'widescreen'. Is it simply matted (top and bottom) or actually cropped?

Also, what're the audio specs? Don't know off-hand if this was originally mono or stereo? Fingers crossed no remix rubbish.

Opening credits for Bloodfight are 1.85:1 non-anamorphic, but after that it is heavily cropped 1.33:1. Case states audio to be stereo, but it is dual mono. There is no channel separation.

Shocking that in 2015 distributors still have the balls to put out crap like that. I wouldn't buy it out of Poundland.
