Natural Doctrine - Fantasy RPG From Lollipop Chainsaw's Kadokawa Games

Lollipop Chainsaw publisher Kadokawa Games revealed its first in-development title from the company's internal studio, a fantasy RPG called Natural Doctrine.

While little information about the game is available in its teaser video, the trailer says players will "assault through the world by natural selection."

The upcoming title is in development for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PS Vita, and will feature both single-player and multiplayer modes, along with cross-play compatibility.

First shown during Sony’s pre-Tokyo Game Show press conference, Natural Doctrine is an upcoming strategy RPG from Metal Max publisher Kadokawa Games. Natural Doctrine takes place in a world with different races at war with each other. Swords and spells prevail in this fantasy themed world. You are part of a convoy escorting miners and dreams of a fortress town. The world or the "natural doctrine" is about to change in a big way when during the story.

Natural Doctrine will be released on February 22, 2014, the same day PlayStation 4 launches in Japan. The game will also be released for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita as PSN downloads on the same day.

Kadokawa Games released Lollipop Chainsaw with Grasshopper Manufacture and Demon Gaze from Experience. Natural Doctrine will be their first internally developed game. It’s a strategy RPG with a fantasy theme and apparently mecha-like golems.

Natural Doctrine is a PlayStation 4 launch title in Japan. The game will also be released for PS3 and Vita.

I just saw that, so it basically works out to be $29. I'll bite on that for a brand new PS4 game on release day.
