I've been using a Rocketfish HDMI Cable since I bought my setup. I had it plugged into my PS3 directly to my TV. Lately I began noticing that the 3D symbol had a line coming down it like a no smoking sign(without the circle)
![]() ![]() I also noticed that my TV was not acknowledging the connection, as before it said HDMI 4 on the source menu, and now it was dull(the way it looks when nothings connected). I luckily had a cheap DYNEX HDMI Cable I had recently bought from Best Buy on hand, opened it up and immediately the horrible left sided screen edge breakup was gone. the line on the 3D symbol is still there when I go into the 3D Menu but the the 3D works but still looks kinda "interlaced" instead of sharp like you'd expect from 3DBD and also my regular TV/cable image looks REALLY soft with the DYNEX Cable connected ![]() I'm guessing this is a cable problem, but I'm not sure...as I'm new to this-High Definition Television/Blu-Rays, I was hoping maybe some of you who seem to be very well versed in this Technology could offer an opinion on what you think is going on and how I might proceed ![]() ![]() |
