I just can't wait for this release. One of the greatest flicks of all time IMO. It's a shame it didn't get the Criterion treatment though.

I was hoping this was going to be the 1998 "Taxi" directed by Gérard Pirès and written by Luc Besson. I have heard good things about that "Taxi".

Yes, that one IS a good movie...this is a shitty remake.
I wish they would release Besson's originals on blu!!!

That's what happens when you replace a role that was played by a male in the original with a woman. This was a buddy-cop movie, not a buddy-chick-cop movie.

Are you serious? I mean, I've never seen either version, but blaming it on the fact that in one version a character is played by a woman should not be of any effect at all.
