Any one know if Iron Man3 will be getting a SteelBook Edition in the US

I know the film just came to the big screen lol.

BBY would be foolish not to...I pre-ordered the one from Amazon.de just to be on the safe side...more than likely we'll see it happen in the states...don't quote me on that, though...I have been known to make mistakes...from time to time.

Considering none of the other Marvel movies have gotten steelbooks in the US, I highly doubt.

Those were both metalpacks I'm pretty sure, I would be surprised if this movie didn't get a collectible case of its own.

the avengers was not a metalpak in the USA it was a viva case which is not being made in USA if we dont get a steelbook i hope the UK or zavvi gets one

Yeah, what he said. The company that made those metal packs is out of business so I doubt well see those again. I have all the marvel movies in slips so I'd be happy if best buy got one of those exclusive comic book slips that Thor and Captain America got since I missed out on those.

Well since these MARVEL movies connected to The Avengers are being released by Disney now, we'll see. That's why I was so upset about the viva cases getting cancelled. First thoughts I had were - "Damn it! No Aladdin or Iron Man 3 metalcases for North America".

Paramount still has their logo attached, so maybe walmart or target will do something. Like a metalpak - hopefully a steelbook. Myself, I would just love an awesome slipcover, to continue my collection.

[Show spoiler]Seriously though this is a question that's being asked WAY to early. It would be all speculation and there probably won't be an announcement for any kind of exclusive for a few months. Yeah there's a pre-order up, but exclusives don't seem to get announced this early. As far as the US is concerned I don't think we will. MAYBE a metalpak, but I doubt that too.
