So, I finally picked up The Dark Knight Trilogy to watch The Dark Knight Rises but I ran into a couple issues. First, it took my PS3 5 - 10 minutes of reading the disc before I could start it up, which isn't a huge issue but still annoying. The second issue is much worse; about half way through it started skipping and stuttering rather frequently. There's no dust, scratches, or smudges on the disc and my PS3 immediately recognizes everything else I put in it (except the one other disc from the trilogy I tried) and I haven't had playback issues with any other movie. Also when I would go back to before a skip or stutter it would play fine the second time, often just to have it happen again 10 - 20 seconds later.
Does anyone know if this is a known issue with this version of the movie? The stand alone version of The Dark Knight I have works flawlessly but the trilogy collection version has the same delayed startup as TDKR, but I didn't try watching through the trilogy version of TDK. Any insight that could be offered would be greatly appreciated. |
