Paprika (subs y dob)
Tekkonkinkreet (subtitulos)
Sky Crawlers (sub y dub)
Resident Evil: Degeneration (sub)
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (sub)
Batman Gotham Knight (sub & dub)
Dead Space: Downfall (sub)

-----

Anime blu-rays never include spanish subtitles nor dubbing. This topic is to inform of any title with spanish language.
I can only remember
Paprika (dub & subs)
Tekkonkinkreet (subs)
Howl's Moving Castle (horrible mexican blu-ray)

Hope someday Funimation release their titles with spanish.

Funimation usually never had the Spanish track on it's dvd releases. ADV had some Spanish audio tracks on some of it's oldest dvds though don't think ADV is going to Blu-ray soon and even if they do it will probably be more like it's newer releases 1st which never had Spanish audio or subtitles on those releases. Oh and Resident Evil: Degeneration sort of counts oh and Sky Crawlers as well.

Sometimes I think that Japanese Audio is better than the spanish track

But I wish that Dragonball Blu-rays could have the spanigh dubbing!

Spanish audio on anime Blu-rays have always been lossy 5.1 Dolby Digital but if you want Spanish audio on DBZ the 1st season does come with Spanish audio on the dvds that say Ultimate Uncut Special Edition in America and also there also dvds of the 1st season in America where the whole dvd box is strictly all in Spanish text and with the Spanish audio. However, Funimation didn't continue that trend and stopped because no one was buying them so they quit using the Spanish audio all together.

How is the Blu-Ray for Howl's Moving Castle? I know it only has Japanese and Spanish audio, but how about the rest of the disc?

It comes with a horrible image. It is 1080i.
Spanish dub 2.0 and japanese i think is 5.1 (Obviously lossy).
I thinks the Disney DVD should look better than this blu-ray.

I believe that it was a double edge weapon for us in Mexico and Latin America, for anime to have become mainstream.

Let's just say that before anime had been highly popular in the US since the late 90's, most anime came directly from Japan to México. That way we got it uncut and with appropiate translations; but not with a good image quality.

Then anime is finally mainstream in USA, but now we receive it from USA with their censorship and editions, their cheesy dialogues and other "americaniztions", though with good image quality. This is because of legal jargon of terms which I am not sure how they go. Voice actor Eduardo Garza may know better on this, and I would like it for him to explain it.

Really, Mexico and Latin America need their own anime distribution market like USA and Europe!

Thank you. I think I'll keep enjoying my DVD until anything better comes out from Miyazaki Hayao, ejem, Ponyo.

Yeah, that's so true, I wanna see Neon Genesis Evangelion and Card Captors Sakura in Blu being released here in México without have to import them.

Sadly it all seems I will have to buy the first new NGE movie from the US as none will release it in Mexico.

Remember in the early 2000's when CC Sakura was going to air in Mexico? Many believed that it would be the crappy Cardcaptors edit from USA; but good thing we got the real deal. And weirdly, only the second movie was released on DVD in Mexico, but as if it were the first movie!

I hope Zima or Sony do something as they seem more serious that Towers Entertainment (now Capital 8) who are falling down.

Oh and welcome to the boards!
