You'll have to add it to the database. It sounds interesting. There's a German Blu-ray coming out at the beginning of April.

OK, done. For some reason, I assumed that a title had to be listed on Amazon before it went into the Db.

Terrific news. The U.S. DVD is full screen, and the U.K. DVD is non-anamorphic widescreen, so this one's a no-brainer for anyone who likes the film.

This is now shipping from Amazon. I've never seen it, but I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully it's a good Blu-ray since the DVD was apparently pretty bad.

A lush, gorgeous film--subtle and quiet, but involving and intensely emotional. I highly recommend another film by the director, "The Vertical Ray of the Sun."

No. I watched my copy on my Oppo player that is set to region B and it played just fine.

Have you tested it on Region C as well?

On DVDBeaver.com, a reviewer has not explicitly stated that it is REGION FREE, nor "locked" to Region A.

No. I may have been a bit careless in calling it region "free" as I only tested region A & B and I could see the person asking is in Dubai, which is region B. If anyone really needs to know I can set the player to region C and check it.

Would you recommend this as a blind buy, at it's price of $25? It looks very interesting and I recently started buying Kino BDs.

Try to test it on Region C; if so, then it is "region free," which can play in all regions.

I would. It's an amazingly beautiful blu-ray, and very entertaining story. But $25 is a bit steep. Borders.com carries it and 40% off code BUC1074K is good until Monday, $15.59 + tax & shipping.
