Goldeneye TV 1989 starring Charles Dance (Tywin Lannister Game of Thrones and Clemens Alien 3) as Ian Flemming.

Synopsis: Fact-based biography of James Bond author, Ian Fleming. The film focuses on his wartime exploits and romantic adventures which ultimately led to his creation of the super-spy.

Has any one heard of this/seen it.

yes i have this movie on vhs tape... good movie that could have been better there is no action to speak of in fact the movie is a little slow at time and it centered mostly on his earlier life prior to becoming the writer we all know in fact the movie end with dr. no coming out in theater for the first time but what is fun is the fact that this movie was filmed at the real goldeneye (fleming jamaican retreat where he wrote all his bond story.) you get to see what the place really look like.

the actress phyllis logan play the role of fleming girlfriend and future wife ann rothermere.
