United Producers / Eagle Films Signs Deal with Netflix

Bad news for BRD collectors are Eagle Films have gone with Netflix. Means no more BRD releases. Good news is films available in Full HD eventually one-by-one.

ELAAN (1971) now availbe on Netflix in HD (7.15 Mbps) for UK/USA audiences

SALAAKHEN (1975) now availabe on Netflix in HD (7.15 Mbps) for UK/USA audiences.

Both look really really good. fully re-mastered, restored with 2 channel PCM Mono sound. Unfortuantely, It is "stretched" to 1.78:1 or cropped.

Maybe we should write in to Netflix and complain about the cropped aspect ratios. Netflix maybe more inclined to listen to it's subscribers than the Indian companies are. It certainly couldn't hurt if everyone complained to Netflix.
