Default Target Ticket UV Sale

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet but Target Ticket is having a sale, "20% off new releases, 50% off HBO and $9.99 and under HD movies".

Maybe we can use this to post TT sales like the reusable VUDU one?

Anyway- not exactly a sale, but TT is giving the Target exclusive special features version of Man of Steel if you redeem Man of Steel there apparently. Waiting on a new UV MoS code now to redeem it there for the features. If it pans out it definitely is the cheapest way to end up with a store exclusive movie release after the fact, so I'm calling it a sale.

I can confirm that redeeming any MoS code at Targetticket will yield their exclusive 30 Minute feature even if you already owned Man of Steel through VUDU/Flixster. I love being able to watch special features remotely. Between VUDU preorders and TT potentially giving special features after the fact (jumping the gun on that, I know, but a man can dream) the UV world could yield a goodly amount of them in the future.
Looking through the others it looks like these titles might yield special features at TT:
Man of Steel
After Earth
Mortal Instruments
Smurfs 2
Wolverine (if so, I'm a little annoyed I bought an extra copy at Target to get the feature, but it's still cool anyway).
Percy Jackson Sea of Monsters

Cool thing being if you type in "Bonus feature" in the search thread all of them with bonus features come up, so it should be easy to check for new titles with them (kind of like the "3D" search in VUDU- except that one of those is a lie.) I really liked Man of Steel and Wolverine, but I can't say I loved the other ones enough to spend much time tracking down another code for each to get the features, but honestly I probably will because I am weak willed.

Those special features only show up on TargetTicket right?

Correct. TT is loaded on my Roku so it's not as much of a pain as CN special features (which involves "all the trouble" of turning on my xbox or going into the web services on my TV- but I still can't as too much trouble most of the time )

One of my MoS features from VUDU became UV enabled on its own and showed up at other retailers... I think. It was a while back, but I seem to remember that being the case. Might happen here too.
Anyway, if people are into just buying codes to "try out" a movie, it's pretty cool that they can get retailer exclusive features with their trial runs if they so choose.

Thanks. This is pretty cool. While I rarely watch special features, it seem like a no brainer to redeem the ones that include them through the approperiate provider. Like getting a bouns. The movies are UV, so they will port to the other providers.

Random probably but 4 of the titles that get bonus features on TT are also the titles that this week (ending tomorrow?) would net you a free Sony Blu-ray player (bdps1100 or something). The sony titles from the list (AE, Mortal Instruments, Smurfs 2, and White House Down). My Target still had some of the exclusives with the discs in them.

Just a heads up, I bought the Hangover bundle on the target ticket sale. The first 2 movies for $10. Not bad.

HOWEVER, the unrated version of the first one doesn't seem to be UV compatible, even though its labeled as UV.

Already did. Asked either for the theatrical UV or a refund. They gave me a refund. Oh well. Was a good deal too.

Good luck getting that refund. Something similar happened to me and they promised me a refund and even sent me an email confirming that I would get a refund. After about a month I called again, and again they promised a refund, but weeks later nothing. Since they also removed the movie from my library I just called my credit card and disputed the charge. This is one of those things where if things go well you love the site, but when trouble arises they become a pain. Buyer beware .

I got my refund without issues...

As for The Hangover Unrated, it is UV enabled through Target Ticket and Cinemanow but not Vudu or Flixster. Flixster also doesn't have Bad Grandpa Unrated but the UV purchase shows up everywhere else.

$6.99 SD Sale: http://www.targetticket.com/errors/n...--5-99/13712/2

SD only for the titles I was most interested in- but those titles had not previously had codes, so it may be worthwhile to some.

Also The Butler joins the list of those movies that get bonus features when redeemed at TT.

Not sure how long they'll be available, though.

Only if they are UV compatible. And I'm pretty sure if From Dusk till Dawn is going to be UV, it won't be activated until at/around the physical copy release date.
