Even though it's dead tech I couldn't help buying $4 and cheaper high def movies. I do have a stand-alone HD-DVD player but I would like to play these in my computer. I have a hubrid blu-ray/HD-DVD drive (LG GGW-H20L). I used to be able to play HD-DVDs with a version of PowerDVD but I don't remember which version it was and I no longer have the setup file for this program. Can someone let me know which version of PowerDVD can play HD-DVDs?
Someone in another forum said that Corel WinDVD 11 can play HD-DVD (he even said he has done it using his external xbox 360 drive) but I can't seem to figure out how to do that if it is even possible. Is there a setting I have to change to enable this? Thanks |
