"Autism in Love" Kickstarter

I read about this on BoxOffice.com. I know it doesn't have any celebrities or anything involved but I thought it was worth sharing. It will only be funded if the $100,000 is reached by Saturday. Now, after seeing projects like Veronica Mars and Zach Braff's Wish I Was Here get there in minutes that seems like it would be easy to reach. We almost forget it's much more difficult for smaller projects without the media attention. It's only at $19,583 right now with a few days to go. It was nice BoxOffice.com shared this or I probably wouldn't have even heard of it.

Anyway, I'm going to donate. I don't know anyone who is autistic, but I think it's an important documentary and I want to help out a smaller project.

I'm not sure how little kickstarters go but it looks like that's going to have a hard time reaching it's goal. Don't let that sway you from donating though! Every little bit helps.

I would LOVE it if we had a dedicated kickstarter thread where we can post interesting projects. Here is one I found:

It's close to it's goal as well. The Filmdrunk guys are pretty funny and seeing them do a doc would be great.
