Default Scenes that get your heart racing

What are some scenes in movies and shows so powerful that you can feel your heart pumping faster?

The "Hold Tight" scene in Death Proof with Jungle Julia's crew vs. Stuntman Mike always gets my heart racing. I've seen it many times, I know how it ends, but it still gets me every time.

One of my favorites since childhood has been the Clock Tower finale in "Back to the Future". They reused it for both sequels as well.

I'll case a vote for the torture room scene with Daniel Craig and Stellan Skarsgård in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.

The Phantom Menace - okay, okay...
[Show spoiler]not the best movie but when the doors in the hangar open and Darth Maul is standing there waiting. He slowly looks up and Qui-Gon says "we'll handle this" and Maul ignites up his double bladed lightsaber. It gets the geek in my going every time.

Clash of the Titans (1981) - when he fights Medusa.
[Show spoiler] Medusa kills everyone but him and everything seems so hopeless as he is clearly outmatched. Then he cleverly tricks her and lops her head off but the build up, while not as crazy now as it was when I was 6 or 7, is still tense.

JAWS -
[Show spoiler]the scene/s when they are harpooning the shark with barrels. The music made it so exciting, adventurous, and epic feeling. It builds alot of excitement in me because the moment feels so upbeat like "they GOT HIM!" but then he dives down with all the barrels, the music stops, and that feeling of dread returns.

The Karate Kid - the fight at the end.
[Show spoiler] All the build up leading up to it and then he successfully lands that crane kick. I can honestly say the triumph of that moment is not only heart-racing but I actually tear up when I see it...even to this day. Its so emotional because it seemed like the ULTIMATE accomplishment, not because it was about kicking a guy in the face...but overcoming adversity and not giving up.

the attack of the car scene in Children of Men. i was holding my breath through the whole thing. it was intense

the attack on the family in the Hills Have Eyes remake made me say out loud "god damn" once everything was over

and the final battle of The Avengers when the all come together and Silvestri's score peaks, i got chills of pride and joy

The final race in Speed Racer after he restarts the Mach 6
The attack on the mansion in Xmen 2
The final chase scene in Carlito's Way
Most of Jennifer Aniston's scenes in Horrible Bosses which is the only role she played that I like

1) Adrenaline shot scene in Pulp Fiction
2) Scene in Boogie Nights where they go to the drug dealer's house and try to sell him flour disguised as coke. The fire crackers going off made it so tense and made me jump each time one went off.

I think both scenes are augmented by the fact that I saw them in theaters which ups the intensity 1000%!

does the entire movie of eden lake with Michael Fassbender count? It was gut wrenching throughout and heart racing from the moment they got caught into the nightmare scenario.

I'd say so.

For some reason, though, a lot of people on this site seem to hate that film.

Think the only thing that makes that scene is the choice of music IMO.
