Default Which Good Actors Need To Be Rescued From Bad Shows?

Saw this article on another website. Curious what people think about their list, and if anyone here has any preferences regarding the matter.

http://www.tv.com/news/pass-the-remo...-143266847116/

Andy Daglas: Most of the Modern Family cast has been better than their material for years. Can we break that show up for parts already?

Nick Campbell: +1 on the Modern Family take. NBC can't even fill up a night of comedy because ABC is hoarding a lion's share of comedic actors while sending them on a train loop through all stops Blandsville, Yawnstown, and JumpedOverSharkerton. The show is an artifact.

Noel Kirkpatrick: We all need to eat, pay bills and so on, but Scott Bakula can find a more interesting way to do that than working on NCIS: New Orleans.

Tim Surette: Corey Stoll is currently being wasted on FX's The Strain, which is a shame because he was the best actor in Season 1 of House of Cards. He out-acted Kevin Spacey and all he got as a reward was a bad hairpiece and a hokey story about trying to get custody of his son during a vampire apocalypse. I suppose I wouldn't be doing my civic duty if I didn't mention Dean Norris from Under the Dome, too. He deserved an Emmy for the final season of Breaking Bad and then he got stuck as an evil sheriff who thought a membrane was determining his fate. #FreeDeanNorris!

Kaitlin Thomas: Who do I have to kill to save Kristen Bell from that terrible, no good, stupid piece of junk House of Lies? Her talents are being wasted on that downer.

Melissa McBride on The Walking Dead
Patricia Arquette on whatever stupid CSI show she is on now.
Vera Farmiga on Bates Motel.
Jamie Lee Curtis on Scream Queens.
Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright need to escape House of Cards after that disaster of a third season.
Also agree that Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle need to be saved from House of Lies.

Kevin Bacon has finally been rescued from The Following, that was a big one.

Corey Stoll on The Strain. Get that big, beautiful bald man out of those awful wigs and onto a decent show where he has something to do.

I was going to say Laurie Metcalf and that awful CBS show she was on, but it was canceled and she's still got Getting On, the single best comedy on television.

Viola Davis on How To Get Away with Murder. Just...ugh. What was she thinking?

Connie Britton on Nashville. Those ABC shows are just deadly for good actresses.

Uhm, Nashville, a bad show?!

I'm not sure yet where I stand on Person of Interest. With 8.5 on IMDb I expect shit to happen soon. I'm half way through the first season right now.

I do agree about Corey Stoll for sure. I was pretty much letdown with The Strain. I'm hoping season 2 will be a vast improvement.

I don't see any issues with House of Lies. I think Bell is pretty great in it, and I think the show is pretty solid as well.

She's been saved now as the show thankfully finished this year, but I couldn't get my head around what the great Melanie Lyneskey was doing on Two and a Half Men.

Patricia Arquette surely deserves better after her Oscar nomination than another CSI spin-off. These shows gobble up an amazing number of great character actors who don't seem to get much work on the big screen anymore (Ted Danson, Jeff Goldblum, Laurence Fishburne, Elizabeth Shue, etc etc. ) The work on these shows is probably incredibly well paid.

ML was the best part of 2.5.

It went downhill and never recovered when she left for that hideous thing that lasted 5 episodes.

Kat Dennings definitely deserves better. But luckily, it looks like 2 Broke Girls is winding down after the announced 2015-16 season.

And Ginnifer Goodwin has pretty much disappeared ever since she agreed to do Once Upon a Time (is she even still on the show?).
