Default Catalog Titles Finally Being Released? Studios Change Strategy?

I've noticed that in recent months, studios have been scheduling a massive number of old catalog titles that had previously thought would never be released to Blu-ray. From such classics as Wing Commander, Simply Irresistible, Jumping Jack Flash, etc.

Is it me, or have these movie studios finally realized that movie fans are tired of not seeing these old classics released to Blu-ray?

I have to admit that this is refreshing to see attention being paid by these studios to finally recognize that there is a market for these older films that they could be tapping, that was previously overlooked.

What I'm still waiting for are more of those Michael J Fox movies like Greedy, Secret of My Success as well as some Whoopie Goldberg faves like Eddie and the Dabbie Coleman film "Cloak and Dagger". Who knows, we could also maybe see that 1980's film, The Philadelphia Experiment finally released.
