Reading reviews on Amazon.com - Blu-ray Forum

I was just reading reviews on Amazon.com on the three next gen consoles and the ps3 has 4 and a half stars out of 5, the nintendo wii and the same thing and the xbox 360 has 3 stars out of 5. All three consoles are good. I don't mean to offend anyone that may be reading this thread, but I have read so many articles on the "Is Sony in trouble" that I think that more people are making a big deal out of nothing. So what if the ps3 is $600.00, flat panel tvs are a lot more in price. To think about this, the ps3 can play ps2 and ps1 games without problems, the xbox 360 on the other hand is very limited with orginal xbox games, not to mention that the console lacks memory card slots as well. 4 out of 5 stars for a $600.00 ps3 can't be that bad.

How can anyone vote for a console that is not available to buy?

Right now there is only one next gen console on the market; Xbox360

Amazon reviews are crazy anyway... Take Blu Ray disks as examples.

House of the Flying Daggers on Blu Ray, terrible transfer, blurry, nasty, grainy...

Why, Amazon give that 4 1/2 out of 5...

The Terminator, way better than the DVD release, terrific transfer...

2 1/2 out of 5.

Amazon reviewers are nutz...

It may be true that some of the Amazon reviewers are nuts, but what can you do? Some of the blu-ray movies are better.
