go my hastings order just now! opened it and saw the 3 movies i ordered one of them being lion king 3d, slip and all...opened it and there is no 3D disc!!!!

has this ever happened to anyone!?!? i want to give them a call and get a new one but i dont want to have to pay to return this one i have!!!

WTH!

What can I do?

I remember buying a sealed Jerimiah Johnson from Walmart when first released and opened it up only to find a Casper the ghost and friends DVD disc 4?! I was livid. Just call it happens.

1) You can post stuff like this either in the original deal thread or else the Retail/Shopping subforum would be the place for it.

2) Before freaking out, just call them. You'll find they will refund you for it no problem, and in some cases they've even let people keep the incorrect item instead of returning it. And if they DO want it back, they'll send a return label. You won't have to pay a dime to ship anything. Hastings has awesome customer service.

Sorry man..didn't want to seem like an attention ***** lol but thanks for the reply another boardie suggested that I call as well ans that they will send me a box with a return shipping label

That happened to me. I bought Fantasia and the set was missing the blu-ray disc, but had the dvd. The best they will offer is to send you a mailing label for you to mail it back for a refund. They used to be cool and just give you a refund immediately. I feel your pain.

Troll got an order in and one of his blu-rays didn't even come with the disc. I think he called and got a replacement and a refund.

They have the best and easiest customer service to deal with. Don't let . One mistake give u a bad opinion oh them. Far and away my favourite place to buy media from

Can anyone tell me if Hastings is a decent place to order from? I'm thinking about ordering some new DVD's and wanted to know if it would be worth ordering from them or not as I've never ordered from them before. Also wanted to know about the "Please note product may ship from multiple locations and may arrive in separate packages at different times." is a good thing that they do and do they usually do that on most orders?

Every order says that because they don't have a central warehouse to ship out merchandise from .com orders. Their online inventory is based on the collective inventory across all their B&M locations. When you place an online order, a request to sent to a B&M who will attempt to process and ship it, and this is why items may ship from multiple locations.
