For the person who made a poll:

If you want even more accurate responses, you should split season five into Season 5A and Season 5B. Because there are some people who think that 5A was a little weak by BB standards, but that 5B is the best season.

It's close between 5B and 4, but for me, Season 3 was the best all-around from start to finish. To be fair, I've seen S 1-4 twice, but S5 only once. I think once I see it again, or perfects reflect more on it, I might rank it differently. S5 definitely had more "holy shit" moments than other seasons. Really, they're all pretty great.

5 Should be split on the poll. It isn't fair to judge 2 sets of 8 episodes together that were 1 year separate

Hadn't really thought about what was the best. Went with season 2 because it was the one that had me most conflicted about how I felt about Walt.

I really didn't enjoy Season 3. When Walter was working for Gus there was very little conflict. Walter had a stable job so not much happened.

I thought 3 was one of the better Season, the subtlety began to set in and the characters started to fit into the mold. It was good to get away from the "hiding his other life from Skyler" part of the story, which was tedious before the end of Season 2, and begin to develop her and her angle in new an interesting ways, since I always found the "family" element of the show weaker than the crime, I thought they did a good job winding both elements together.

I also think it's the most consistently well paced season, with each episode either having a dramatic or an explosive payoff. I think Season 4 is still better, since that feels like a proper crime epic the way it builds and builds, but that started off a bit slow, and I don't think that Season would have nearly had enough pay off if it wasn't for the setting up done in Season 3, if they managed to cram both Season 3 and 4 into one big Season, it certainly would of been tense and exciting television, but you wouldn't have felt a tight crank on the intensity that 4 builds up to juxtaposed with 3's slightly more stable but domestically volatile and corrosive effects on the storyline as a whole.

Just my two cent.

It had everything.
