Are these region locked like the other steelbooks? I hate buying a steelbook and then have to buy cheap version just so i can watch it.

According to the site, it's Region 2 (ie. B). It also mentions PAL, so if any extras are in SD, there's another problem to contend with.

Has this been confirmed to be a SB? Over at HDN it being discussed it might be a metal pak.

BTW for those that order it from Amazon.it to the US it cost EUR 31.23. 10 of that shipping alone lol.

That is what sucks with buying from Italy...shipping is a bit high. If I remember correctly they also just use non padded cardboard mailers.

That's correct the same mailers Amazon UK use for NON steelbooks, so limited protection during shipping. If buying a Steelbook from Amazon Italy I always try and buy a few more BD at same time so it comes in a box and is a bit more protected.
