If you want to expand your musical horizons and venture out to listen to what they call "World Music" , this album is a wonderful starting place for such a discovery.

While technically NOT a Peter Gabriel album, it was recorded at his Real World Studios in the Summers of 1991, 1992 and 1995, and he supplies vocals on various tracks. There were 34 musicians who contributed to the effort, which also took 18 years to finally get released. The reviews have been very, very positive, although it never really captured the attention in terms of sales. I suspect this is due to the nature of the content as most people seem rather content living within musical limits. Sorry, but I had to say that.

I recently purchased the limited Classic Records 2LP/150-gram/45RPM/Blue Vinyl edition, but it's also available from Amazon as an MP3 download or Audio CD.

This sounds very intriguing!
Peter has great voice and backing vocals on this cd would be awesome! The only other time I've heard him on bv was on a Robbie Robertson song and the song was/is excellent!
If this isn't in stock when I check later today, I'll definitely order it from Amazon.
