Default How long until a US The World's End steelbook?

Both Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and even Scott Pilgrim vs. the World have steelbooks. How long will it be until The World's End joins this collection?

In the US, no clue (If ever). You can buy it and import it from the UK though, I believe it's region free.

Been and gone in the UK, and it goes for £60+ on eBay now.

Yes, it's Region Free. Didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I did Shaun of the Dead and Paul though.

I think a "Reel Heroes" edition (i.e. Comic Style) Steelbook is a strong possibility for the future. All ther others got one so it seems like an obvious move.

I think this and Riddick could possibly get one in a year or so if the line stays popular. Easiest way is to see if a slipbox version comes out in another country sometime and then the US is more likely to get a steelbook of it

Yeah, I'm hoping maybe by the end of the year. I think it was around the holidays when we were flooded with last RH batch

Would the Cornetto Trilogy get a combined steelbook trilogy set like the Evil dead? www.amazon.co.uk/The-Evil-Dead-Trilogy-Blu-ray/dp/B00D9SRBUC

And why didn't you just get the region free UK steelbook release? It's gorgeous!

Since that is now gone, welcome to the "you snooze, you lose" club. Especially considering that 80%+ of the US steelbook releases of steelbooks "after the fact" tend to be inferior by design than the original UK releases.

I hassled Edgar Wright on his blog about a special edition Cornetto Trilogy. He said there were no plans

All we've got is the terrible cardboard sleeve or there are steelbooks of all 3 films.
