Budget: $70,000,000
Worldwide total: $8,788,518

They're going to have to sell a lot of blu-rays.

Day one for me! I know it wasn't the best movie ever made but the music was great. If it wasn't for Lea Michele I might have hated it but she did a great job with it!

Anyone received their copy yet? Mine won't be here until tomorrow and it was a blind buy. I can't seem to find any reviews for it. I do wish there would have been a 3d release.

The PQ and AQ are solid, didn't notice any issues with the transfer at all. As per the film, well the animation looks dated as in year one pixar quality, like Toy Story 1. The musical numbers were boring for the most part and nothing special. The film itself entertained my 7 year old, so I think it hit its target audience, but wasn't that entertaining to me at least.

I received mine on Monday from Family Video. I saw it in theaters and really enjoyed it. If Lea Michele hadn't played Dorothy I'm not sure if I would have enjoyed it as much. She made the musical numbers very enjoyable.

I might pick it up. I was bummed there was no 3D release, which would have got me to buy it on release day, now I will probably wait but will eventually pick it up.

Now I just wish Disney would release Return to Oz!

Watched this over the weekend and I was not impressed. It was too childish for me. It was like watching something on the cartoon network. It just didn't have the "hollywood" feel to it which is surprising due to the cast. This was a blind buy regret.

That's because even with the big hollywood actors, it was still a small budget film from a small studio. I thought it was pretty good for what it was.

I was in Ollie's today and found this for 2.99. I picked it up without thinking. I have heard mixed things about this but I only paid 2.99 so my complaints will be minimal

Well first off as is natural for these. This is a story of Oz. Dorothy just happens to be in. Once you figure that out. This is a rather good CG Movie and I happen to like these types.... Not drawn , though a few get me.. It's original . Especially the Princess made of ceramic ?
