Out of the 3 Tobey Maguire movies, this is my least favorite. Pretty much hated it for the most part if memory serves me. However, in terms of the steelbook, I love the front artwork. I do like the artwork on all 3 of the Zavvi Spider-Man steels so I'll probably be picking them up and get rid of the trilogy SB, which just had lazy artwork all around.

Spider-Man 3 had the best poster and promo artwork out of all three of the Sam Raimi films...and that's about it.

The construction site rescue is up there with the best of Spidey 1 and 2. Too bad it only lasts about 30 seconds.

Why only one disc? They did the same with Iron Man and IM 2. Both were released with 2 discs but the steelbooks only have 1.

Cash grab. Glad my spending habits have changed...these are just too much for catalog releases...I will stick with my German trilogy steelbook.

I don't know it gets the in the way of a cash grab to just include all the discs released in the first place. I wouldn't consider giving up a bd of any kind just to get cooler packaging.

Yes but you would still be importing & most of their titles are probably region B. Just wishing that Zavvi would set up a U.S. store & then release all region A titles.

If I could order those US Blu-rays too, then I would be all for it. It's a pain in the ass to get those without getting ripped off by huge postage costs. The best way atm is wowhd.

Zavvi actually sells quite a few region free Blu-rays (but sure, basically all of them are UK Blu-rays). You simply have to research on those. Zavvi probably never mentions that a Blu-ray is region free, because they simply do not know.

This is one of the reasons I purchased a region free 2D/3D Sony blu-ray player.

Personally i'm more then happy with zavvi being a uk store only.. why should us have all the good ones??? they already have plenty of stores/sites that won't even ship out out the country (unlike zavvi)... region is easy fixed by gettin a region free player and in my mind its almost impossible being a true collector without one.
