Thumbs down Writers Strike!

Anyone know what primetime shows are being affected by this. Greys, Heroes, Life, ER, House, etc?

Nothing should be affected by this in the short term, with the exception of late-night talk shows. Of course, if this goes on for a long time, then we could see quite a few TV series have shortened seasons.

Every single show you listed will be affected. Most have plenty of scripts already stockpiled so it isn't like they are going off the air today. Hereos has scripts up to episode 11 and they have an alternate ending already scripted incase they need to end the season short.

The biggest thing it will effect are winter serials like Lost and 24. Hopefully they all got enough scripts in to do a season. 24 definitely hasn't and will either get pushed back or get pulled completely depending on what the strike is like at that time.

Late night tv definitely gets hurt the most as that happens immediately. Cartoons have on average, a year lag so they are pretty much ok. South Park is usually written the week it is going to air but luckily it isn't a WGA show so they can finish out their season. It is pretty much the only thing on Comedy Central that will continue but they only have 2 episodes left. Maybe CC will order more episodes to fill the gaps. No Daily Show, no Colbert Report.

A friend of mine writes for Dirty Sexy Money, I wonder what he is up to today?
