Default Has Anyone Moved Their Blu-Rays to Slim Cases?

I'm considering moving all my discs to slim cases to cut in half the visual bulk of my collection of discs. I have around 100 Blu-Rays and around 50 DVDs and while my DVDs are in slim cases the Blu-Rays are in the cases they came with and I'm tired of looking at them. Short of hiding them in a new cabinet, I want to simply move them into slim cases like those my DVDs are in.

The only issues I have is that so far I have only seen slim Blu-Ray cases were the discs are not raised and don't have little tabs along the edges to keep them from flattening out. Discs stored in cases where the discs simply bottom out always end up with scratches since all it takes is for dirt to get trapped in between. The other issue is one of cover art. I obviously wouldn't be able to use the original cover art so that would require me having to make custom cover art or forgo it completely and just write movie names in the spines.

If I do go ahead and decide to use slim cases does anyone know if there are slim Blu-Ray cases where the discs are not simply lying flat in the case making full contact with the entire playing surface? I haven't been able to find any close up pictures of how the discs are sitting in the cases. It's frustrating. What's also frustrating is to see how DVD cases were/are so much better built. I'm tempted to just use slim DVD cases because of that, but then they are taller.

Any input would be appreciated. And no, I will never put my discs in sleeves.
