Default Halloween, Halloween 4, and Halloween 5 coming back to the big screen!

Just saw this on Halloweenmovies.com's Facebook page.

Quote:
This October...coming to a theater near you!

HALLOWEEN- the original, celebrate the 35th anniversary of the all-time classic.

Also - for the first time since their initial theatrical release:

HALLOWEEN 4: The Return of Michael Myers
HALLOWEEN 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers

Watch this page, or halloweenmovies.com, for more details and a list of theaters coming soon!

The year HE comes home...

One masterpiece, one decent film and one rubbish film? Hmm...

Still, I'd be in if these were arriving at a cinema near me (which I doubt will be the case).

The same with me, I never get special showings where I live.

I see Blade Runner is your favourite film, too. Good man/woman.

Last year, Halloween played here (I didn't go). For some reason, one-night only reissues of movies almost never play here (but the latest Glenn Beck or Kirk Cameron egofests do).

Oh god, my theater is getting that Kirk Cameron special. I think it's in September.

Halloween 4 is the best sequel, IMO. It was the first Halloween movie I'd ever seen. Saw it as a kid as my sister and her boyfriend rented it and it terrified me back then. I didn't want to go trick-or-treating that Halloween.

They do seem to be avoiding the Carpenter-produced sequels, and playing the Weinsteins'/Dimension "We invented it!" card...
Would've been interesting to see an audience reaction to H3 after thirty years.

I'd be all over this if it comes near Columbus. Seeing Halloween on the big screen? Yes please.

I've never seen the original Halloween, so if it's playing near me, I'd like to check it out.

That'd be great to see it on the big screen!

I'd gladly go see 1, 2, and 4 all back to back to back if they would show them like that somewhere!

See it. Like now. I am trying to contain myself. You haven't seen one of the great cinematic masterpieces of the 20th century? If this is true, definitely try to see it on the biggest screen you can.

I honestly consider Halloween to be one of the greatest films of all time, it isn't just a great horror film, it's the greatest textbook excersise in tension and suspense. I would honestly compare it to some but not all of Hitchcock's works.

Sorry for going overboard here, but as you can see, I love Halloween.
