have no idea if all the other countries' "head" pieces are the same, but the pic on amazon.de shows more than the US pic.
the UK "head" definitely looks different.

besides the comic con pictures of it saying there was 500 made..was there a official statement by fox? Or is it numbered? Regardless i still got it on pre order.

I think it was 500 pre orders at Comic Con, Worldwide will have their own numbers that we will probably never find out

I believe the 500 limit applied to the Comic Con Exclusive offer with the 3D Systems figurine.

"The figurine is only available to fans that purchase the PREDATOR Blu-ray 3D, available exclusively for pre-order at Comic-Con and packaged in a limited edition Predator head for $129.99. Fans can also receive the figurine with the purchase of a “headless” Blu-ray 3D for $49.99" (Press Release)

None of the other "limited edition" offers, including the Fox Connect offer mentions a number limit. These "limited edition" offers have been available for months. The earliest offer (Czech) appeared in March 2013 and is still available.
