I agree, sounds like they are changing it some as well.
Too much sailing, not even cool dungeons. Some of the early dungeons are Awesome with the cool bugs and stuff. I love the arty style on the Cube version and would love a full on new Zelda in the same style. |

Yeah, I would definitely want more content. They could really tune the game up by adding more areas to explore, more enemies, less fetching at the end.

You what's sad? I bought (and still have) the original version of Wind Waker for Gamecube, but I barely ever played it. I did play it some, but never got that far in it. Yet I'm still planning to get the new HD version.
![]() I won't get it right when it comes out, but I'll probably just put it on a list for my wife and family as something I want for Christmas. This and Super Mario 3D World. |

I haven't finished it yet on Wii U, however the game is so much more enjoyable. You will notice so many things that they fixed and made smoother while your playing. Not including the Swift Sail, which just makes it that much better also. Not having to play the Wind Waker every time you need to change direction just makes such a huge difference.

It is a great game.
![]() I haven't got to far into it yet due to GTA V (I think just got my boat), but what I have seen of Wind Waker so far has just been gorgeous. Last edited by RaijinUT; 10-03-2013 at 10:11 PM. |

![]() [Show spoiler] (screenshots are saved at 720p max, the game is full 1080p) Wind Waker was my least favourite 3D Zelda and that hasn't changed but quite a few of the annoyances with travel have been improved with the swift sail from the auction house. Little things like not being able to speed-roll over some little steps or pull up to low ledges from water remain and make me wish I was playing a taller, faster-climbing Link again! Visually it's quite the remaster, another step or two of effort above Okami HD's. Most of the environment textures look like they've been through HexaDrive's Super-resolution cleanup process but characters, objects, special effects and some environmental details look like they've been retextured/remodelled and look extremely sharp. The framerate's mostly smooth at 30fps, bomb explosions cause the framerate to plummet momentarily, especially bad at sea when you're getting bombarded by many at once. I can't see how it's an overdraw issue because there's plenty of instances of other dense, overlapping smoke-puffs where the framerate holds up fine. Gamepad inventory and maps work well, I wouldn't say it speeds things up a lot and sometimes I'm tempted to pause in dangerous situations. It's a shame the gamepad screen interface is locked out when loading to new areas, chatting etc because you'd get just enough time to switch from map to inventory view, remap buttons more comfortably, check consumable stocks and so on. Maybe the new Zelda for WiiU will be designed to allow this. And make characters less chatty on repeat conversations! |

Had this on the GameCube many years ago and loved it - love all the Zelda games, playing Minish Cap via an emulator on my tablet now.
Went to Gamestop with the kids today and played the demo and it looked stunning. May have to pickup this system and game up at some point in the future. |

the triforce quest really slowed down the pace of the game, and I hate to admit it, it also ruined it for me.. I can't believe it was longer on the original..
![]() every Zelda game I've played started perfect but ended up dragging toward the end, some game developers should learn that less is more |
