Default PowerDVD 3D Playback
Hiya,

I connected by Laptop to our new TV, which is 3D compatible, and installed the PowerDVD version that can play 3D.

I put in Men in Black 3D, and it allowed me to choose 3D playback (unlike previously when it would keep coming up '3D requires 3D tv etc', but it didn't come out in 3D, it just looked like the 2D playback.

The laptop is connected via HDMI, 1080p, just like I normally do for big screen usage.

Do you need a specific 3D drive? I thought it was just the software that enabled/disabled it?

Hp-DV6 with 8Gb Ram, 2Gb Graphics.

* Edit - I just remembered 3D requires an HDMI 1.4 cable. I should try that first.
