I'd love a Bela Tarr set:

Family Nest
The Outsider
Prefab People
Autumn Almanac
Damnation
Satantango
Werckmeister Harmonies
Man From London

I believe his only film on bd is his most recent and supposed final film, Turin Horse, available from Cinema Guild.

You were right about Stray Dogs delivering, my god that whole second half was incredible. It's impossible to overstate just how much of an added effect those final scenes can have if you've seen the earlier films.

Glad you had that experience with it!

More than any director I can think of, his work can be read as one continually unfolding piece... and as such, would lend itself perfectly to an immersive box set (with all the shorts, please!).

Karel Zeman

1955 Journey to Prehistory
1958 An Invention for Destruction (The Fabulous World of Jules Verne)
1961 Baron Prášil (The Fabulous Baron Munchausen)
1964 A Jester's Tale
1967 The Stolen Airship
1970 On the Comet
1974 Tales of 1,001 Nights (Adventures of Sinbad the Sailor)
1977 Krabat — The Sorcerer's Apprentice

To my knowledge none of these have had Blu Ray releases yet.
