Default So I think we need a new poll...

So I think we need a new poll about the most wanted unreleased AND unannounced movies yet to get blu treatment. This way, we get a real feel for what titles are people most looking forward to.

Please post here the movies that you think should be included on a list of no more than say a dozen titles to vote on.

This isn't the place to list every last Blu you want. For example, my #1 want is George C. Scott's "The Changeling". No way is that gonna make a top 10 list, so there's no point in me offering it up. Also, please refrain from any edition concerns. If we have a version of the film, even a lousy one (Lethal Weapon) or an out-of-print one, consider it covered. Also, let's limit this to US releases. There is certainly validity to the point that worthy films have been released elsewhere, but I'd like to keep this simple.

Here's a few to start:
The Abyss
True Lies
101 Dalmations
Aladdin

So once this spins enough that we get a good sense of what movies need to be in the poll. Thereafter, I'll create the poll and we'll see what we get.

The Abyss
True Lies
Bad Boys II

I believe these titles are the biggest catalogue ones that I would like to see on Blu.

I was just thinking earlier, in this day and age when weird, obscure, or low-rate movies like Plan 9 From Outer Space, Birdemic, Street Trash, Wing Commander, Captain America from 1990, Mindwarp, Airplane II, Zaat, etc all get releases and announcements, and we got a steady stream of fully remastered Star Trek: Next Generation seasons coming out...why the bloody frakk isn't The Abyss and True Lies out yet?!

From my wishlist, I would say these would look the best on Bluray...

Open Range
The Missing
The Snow Walker
Mission To Mars
A Bronx Tale
American Me

Honarable mentions would be...

Colors
Blood In Blood Out
Lords of Dogtown
Dreamcatcher
Breakdown
The Mothman Prophecies
Dead Silence

It's hard not to get carried away, listing them all.

ok, so never mind... Since there wasn't much activity here, I decided to just start collecting wishlists entries and throwing them into a spreadsheet. I did that for a couple hours and had accumulated about 1200 records. I then started counting up the entries. Would you believe that True Lies and The Abyss came in 1, 2? It isn't all that scientific, but I have a good feeling now for what people want on this site.

I'm going to start a new thread about those numbers.
