Wilderness (2006)

A high point for director Michael J. Bassett, though I was one of the few who liked 2002's Deathwatch which would also benefit from a blu. A young, talented cast play young offenders who are sent to a deserted island after one of them commits suicide. The existing UK DVD looks very good upscaled so the source might provide for an even better looking blu. The film takes time setting up the motivation and establishing characters and then delivers with solid, surprisingly gory action.
