Default What are the best sequences/scenes of the X-Men franchise for you?

Not a poll, just describe your fave sequences/scenes and why you love them so much.

My Top 3:

1- The final battle of "Apocalypse", brilliant and epic from start to finish.
2- The final battle of DOFP, especially the final moments...
3- The shuttle sequence of "Dark Phoenix".

By the way, I just reverted my X-Continuity website to the TWO TIMELINES model, forever.

1- "First Class" is the official origin story of the X-Men. For some reasons, Xavier created a fake story to tell people about his first encounter with Erik. Maybe, Xavier just wanted to hide his involvement with the Cuban Missile Crisis and his deep relationship with the mutant terrorist known as Mystique.

2- "X-Men Origins" is set in 1983 (as "Apocalypse" in the revised timeline). Emma Silverfox is a clone of Emma Frost. The Quicksilver guy and the Banshee guy were clones as well.

3- "Deadpool" and "Deadpool 2" belong to a different universe, so there's a different Wade Wilson in "Origins".

4- "X-Men" and "X2" are both set in 1999. "The Last Stand" is set in 2000. Aprox. 15 years since "Origins". About the timestamps, we can pretend that 1999 and 2000 were "the future" from the perspective of the "First Class" and "X-Men Origins" worlds.

5- The "Archangel" in "Apocalypse" was NOT Warren Worthington III, but another "Cheyaraphim" mutant. His wings were also different...

Quicksilver in DOFP.

The 3D time tunnel during the opening credits of...DOFP? Apocalypse? I can't recall which one.

[Show spoiler]The last bit in which Mystique is debating whether or not to kill Trask, while the future mutants await their deaths, is some of the most heartfelt stuff in the series and that's the first thing that comes to my mind.

X-2: Nightcrawler's opening attack, and Jean Grey's sacrifice in the climax. Powerful scene.

X-3: Xavier's death. Unexpected. Powell's score really makes the scene.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine: The opening of Logan and Sabertooth through time

First Class: Logan's cameo. Still one of the best cameo's I've seen in a film, and based on the audience I saw it with and how they reacted, I'm sure a lot of people agree.

Days of Future Past: The ending

Apocalypse: Wolverine's attack

There are many more, but those stand out most to me.

Nice list. Very nice.

Oh, and that opening is just brilliant to say the least.

Shuttle in Dark Phoenix

Anything with professor x in logan

Professor X giving himself advice in days of future past, gets me all emotional every time.

Yeah I love Patrick Stewart.
