I know the Aerosmith edition is coming out, and I realize its only been a few months since GH3 came out but I really want Hotel California

I think some band I never heard of announced that one of their tracks is officially going to be on the game.

No other news aside from that though.

There is no info on a release as Activision has said nothing, other than that they plan to bring a new guitar hero to market every year. I doubt you will find anyone with inside legit information.

It's rubbish they chose Aerosmith when they could've had a Buckethead Guitar Hero. Imagine that!

This game will only feature Aerosmith songs.

So, if you absolutely love Aerosmith, pick it up for 50 smacks. Otherwise, pass.

??

This info has been covered by the NY Daily News, USA Today, Yahoo, etc.

BTW, here's a video of the song list:

On topic, but kind of not maybe, but I'm not really looking forward to Guitar Hero anymore, after spending some time with Rock Band. The difficulty of Guitar Hero toward the end takes a lot of the fun out of it. Rock Band is difficult, but still attainable for most. Plus, the price point of Guitar Hero no longer seems appropriate, given that Rock Band gives you three games for the same price. I do wish I could get some GH3 songs over onto Rock Band . . . Welcome to the Jungle FTW!

I just play GH on easy or medium. It's a "fun break" for me. My wife and kids play the easy mode. The hard mode is doable, but it feels too much like work. And I'll just practice on a real guitar if I want to work that hard.

Rock Band is something I won't purchase. Don't care to have all that crap in my living room.

I play on expert usually . . . which is ridiculous toward the end of GH3. Hard is still fun for me, but the songs aren't nearly as interesting. I love Welcome to the Jungle on expert!

Rock Band is difficult, but a fun challenge. GH3 is just frustrating. I'd highly recommend RB . . . I'm sure you've got a closet you could clean out somewhere to make room for the drums

You probably won't hear an announcement on GH4 until May. April at the earliest.

I think it's just me but I wanna hear "Beat It" by Michael Jackson.

If you really listen, the guitar in that is so good !

That is not Guitar Hero 4, just as Guitar Hero Rocks the 80's was not Guitar Hero 3.

I love them and the fact that you have to be really really good to master it! Keeps me into the game. Just my opinion...

That's because Eddie Van Halen did the guitar work for the solo...
