I didn't see a thread on this game, but it sounds really interesting and thought you would like to hear about it if you're a fan of fighting games.
You ever beat your friend at a fighting game, and all they do is complain about how their controller isn't working right? Or their combo didn't perform correctly? Or some other obviously bullcrap excuse for them just plain sucking at the game? Or maybe you have been in their shoes, and swear there was lag or a broken B button? Well, say goodbye to the days of needlessly arguing over whether or not a controller is broken or not, because now we have: DiveKick! In a world of snowballing complexity in fighting games, where precision is more necessary than ever, DiveKick strips all that away and reveals what fighting games are really all about: fighting. It literally has two buttons for controls: a dive button, and a kick button. No joystick movement, no combos, no blocking. Two. Buttons. It boils fighting games down to their most primal and basic skeletons! And it looks like the developers have a fun time doing this! It has a quirky list of characters, and I believe every character has their own techniques, as well as different traits. This funny little game is coming to the PSN on PS3 and Vita tomorrow, August 20th! I know I'll be getting my copy as soon as it hits the store ![]() Here is a video for gameplay and explanations on the mechanics and such ![]() |
