2 Pioneer subs in an apartment

I am about to move in to a small apartment and I have the andrew jones speaker system I have the chance to get a second Pioneer SW8 MK2 for 80$ would that be overkill, some notes about the room, I am on the third floor, It is a four bedroom apartment, and the floor is carpet, I don't want to get TOO many noise complaints, (once in a while is fine )

any suggestions? (also I am considering building a riser if that would help, sub is down firing)
