I saw the last b/w one, The Pure Hell Of St Trinian's at the cinema, & still love it. ITV3 (I think) has shown all three b/w's a few times, The Belles Of St Trinian's, Blue Murder At St. Trinian's & Pure Hell Of St. Trinian's & they looked very good (but Murder was 4x3 & should have been 1:66). Why can't they release the three of them in a box set? Just the first one at over £13...I'm not biting.

It is a bit pricey for an old film, I am sure it will drop in price, I have all the originals in a box set but would consider buying them on BR if they have improved the quality or added extras are worth it.

I take it your box set is DVD? Then you can be guaranteed this will be a huge step up then, not least of all between DVD and Blu Ray but also because this is a 60th edition and has had a new restoration and transfer. All of Studio Canal's Vintage Classics series are fabulous

The extras are of note too
EXTRAS:

The Girls of St Trinian’s

Interview with Alistair Sim’s Daughter - Merlith McKendrick

Interview with Geoff Brown - film historian

Interview with Steve Chibnall – Professor of British Cinema, De Montfort University

Interview with Melanie Williams - Senior Lecturer in Film Studies UEA

This was on Channel Four this afternoon (SD) in 4x3 & looked so wrong, even zoomed in to 1:66 there was lots of headroom. If this is in 1:33 then I think they've made a mistake.
