Discovered him through Rainbow when they were at the height of their creative prowess, still my favorite hard rock/metal band, if you need to see how much better Rainbow were on Stage get the excellent Live in Munich 77 from which this was taken. The AQ and PQ of the DVD are merely adequate, but since there is not much available on Blackmore in general on the tube sites, it's worth the $10 if you really are into guitar driven metal but showcased also by the best frontman this side of Freddie, no-brainer, you will for once see what Blackmore was truly all about
