This movie should have been the fifth Die Hard flick. Solid action film reminiscent to the good 80s and 90s action titles. And Gerard Butler is such a great lead.

I'd be down for pre-ordering this, as the only announced steelbook thus far is the French one with French wording on the front. I prefer my movies to have English titles on them.

What's wrong with French?

Here's a picture for those who haven't seen it (it's released 24th July, €24.99 on amazon.fr) :

I haven't seen this one yet, at first I heard it was horrible, and then there were kinder reviews. I probably won't pick up the steelbook, but I guess I'll watch the film at some point - though I'm more interested by White House Down.

Hmmm, so many films it's starting to get hard trying to decide what to order and what to put on the to buy list.

Haha. Nothing against the French. Just would look horribly out of place amongst my other movies. It would prompt more visitors to grab it and be like "Huh! What's this?" and grub it all up or scratch it. *grumble, grumble*

I'm definitely gonna rent this, first ; White House Down looks a lot less po-faced and more fun.

IMO it was a decent action flick and depending on the price I might get this one.

to me Olympus was the "Action/Drama" movie and WHD seems to be more a "Action/Comedy" flick...I loved Olympus and have high hopes for WHD

I'm usually not a big fan of the "floating heads", but that looks pretty good!
Now I'm kind of interested to see what Zavvi will come up with.

Just because a film brings in money, doesn't mean it's good. Example, the Resident Evil franchise. Just because a film doesn't bring in large box office numbers, doesn't make it a bad film.

If you like Gerard Butler, then absolutely. If you like 90s action flicks, totally. As I mentioned above, this clearly should have been the screenplay for the 5th Die Hard after the abomination that turned out to be...
