Animated Specials from Magic Light Pictures

I thought it would be useful to have a thread to keep track of the Blu-ray releases of the animated specials by Magic Light Pictures. The majority only offer Blu-ray releases in Germany.

The Gruffalo (Der Grüffelo):

Includes all previous specials, plus 'The Snail and the Whale'.
I don't own this release.

Zog and the Flying Doctors (ZOGG und die Retter der Lüfte)
Main feature (HD) - English & German
Extras - English only

Unfortunately the Blu-ray releases in Germany always seem to be a year after they are shown on TV in the UK, so it is a long wait each time.

My grand daughters love The Gruffalo so I was disappointed to find only the sequel on Bluray.
I can't find any reference to the original being on Bluray on ebay or Amazon Germany

Edit , strangely the Amazon Germany listing for the French dvd of the show contains a button for the Bluray so I've gone for it. The Making of is on the UK dvd in English

Revolting Rhymes will be released on 18th January 2018 in Germany, and include English audio:
Es war einmal... Nach Roald Dahl (Revolting Rhymes I + II)

I'm not planning to buy this one, so hopefully someone else can confirm whether the extras offer English options.

Unfortunately the extras have a German voice over on top of the English again, rather that offering separate English & German.

I would suggest offering English option for the extras, but not sure how to contact Concorde Video.

Unfortunately Leonine (formerly Universum Film) has take over the license for these specials in Germany, releasing all the specials in a single collection:
Der Grüffelo und seine Freunde BD

So the only way to get 'The Snail and the Whale' on Blu-ray, is to buy the complete collection.

I wonder if Leonine will do a double feature for Zog next year, to combine the two related specials, or another complete collection.

We are lucky to get the extras in English, looks like Leonine Films didn't think the extras were worth translating to German.
