Netflix launched in the Netherlands

So Netflix was launched in the Netherlands today, and I purchased it immediately. It is only 8 Euros (+/- $12 USD) a month, which is really cheap .

I am amazed by what they offer... and this is just the start. We can already watch series like Homeland, Jericho, Dexter and a lot more.

But I want to talk about Jericho. I just watched the first 4 episodes, went to IMDb and read a few topics. And it looks like this series was cancelled?

BUT WHY!? Why do I always like the cancelled series... same with Firefly.

Yeah, I was up to episode 9 when i found out, stopped watching it. Hate it when good shows get cancelled. You are lucky that you get to watch Dexter...not available in the US

I believe you don't have Homeland either. At least, that's what a Dutch article stated ;p.

I'm just waiting for the new episodes of Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead and how I Met your Mother.

The launch caught my out of the blue, but I've been trying it out today watching House of Cards and I have to say I love it. Been streaming through my PS3, but pretty much every device in my house supports it so looks like I'm hooked Fast, good quality and a wide selection of entertainment, so my experience so far has been great.

8 Euro's for this amount of content is nothing, plus having the first month for free adds a cherry on top for me

I'm more of a TV fan and I feel Netflix has a ton. I dont think I'll ever remove it.

tip for the dutch;

Download mediahint for chrome. It takes less than 1 minute and you don't have to do anything else besides installing it. Then go to your normal (Dutch) netflix account and tada; you can watch the complete US catalog .

Downside; you won't be able to watch the Dutch catalog, like Dexter & Homeland, but you can just turn off Mediahint in chrome-extensions, log-out & in again on your netflix account and your Dutch catalog is visible again.

They knew of the cancelation early enough to write a good ending. It is worth finishing Jericho.
