Shaw's last movie was Avalanche Express co-starring Lee Marvin, he died of a heart attack in the middle of Production. Strangely enough, the director, Mark Robson also died of a heart attack, dooming this movie for good. Shaw's performance was horrible in this movie as he was very ill at the time and apparently didn't know it.

Bo Derek was in ORCA, another water-related movie from around the same time. Maybe that's where you're getting confused??

Maybe. But The Deep has never gotten all the SD DVD treatments through the years that Jaws has seen and The Deep is a good film with some great suspense. Glad to see it hit blu.

I'd love to see Black Sunday on Blu-ray too. I already have the DVD version of the movie, and would double-dip in a heartbeat!

Yeah, I just saw that and I'm stoked that they are using the original theatrical poster for this All classic films should have the original artwork (WB did it for Eastwood's The Gauntlet using Frank Frazetta's painting and it rocked). I'd love for the original Star Wars trilogy to have the original 1977, 1980 and 1983 posters as cover art when it finally comes out on Blu and not the crappy Photoshop montage from a few years ago...

Fantastic! Original theatrical poster artwork should be used on all releases.

Unfortunately, I can't help but think that the only reason they used the original artwork in this case is because it's predominantly blue. Otherwise, we'd probably get some crappy-Photoshop-with-floating-heads deal that we normally get -- with a blue background, of course.
