Default "The Dead Of Night"?!! WTF is this?

Has anyone seen this? Apparently they took two good PD movies ("Carnival of Souls" and "Night Of The Living Dead") and edited them into one film. That HAS to be a major train wreck! Has anyone seen it? Is there any coherent story at all? And how did they link them -- narration, or ??
