Default Say something negative about movies you love

Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves - Almost ruined by Costner's muddled accent.
Watchmen DC - Great film, though runs a bit too long.

Reservoir Dogs - The Mr. Blonde and White flashback scenes are a bit unnecessary and placed at a bad times in the film.

Fight Club - Twist is a little too spelled out.

Magnolia - A film that's constantly rushing, plus I don't like the Karaoke bit.

  • The existing French Blu-ray of Le Samouraď has terrible picture quality.
  • The conclusion of Rear Window is rather contrived with the camera flashes.
  • Dr. No does not feature the squid scene from the Ian Fleming novel.

Some cringe-inducing dialogue in Titanic (especially Kate Winslet's 90's Valley Girl delivery of the line, "You are so annoying!").

Kevin Costner in JFK

Alice Eve standing there like an idiot in Into Darkness.

[Show spoiler]Tarantino's cameo
in Django. Terrible.

Chris Pratt in ZDT. I was not convinced at all. It just wasn't working for me.

Jennifer Ehle in ZDT. Again, not convincing and just a really awkward and out of place performance IMO.

  • Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer...
Let's cast one of the most beautiful actresses in the world...as an invisible person.

(I do actually love these two movies, and I prefer them to the dark and somber superhero films of recent. Alba as an invisible woman, though?)

The Unrated cut of Dumb & Dumber is awful.
Ron Perlman has a campy line in Drive.
[Show spoiler]"Now this... that is one mother****ing, fine-ass, *****-mobile, motha-****a'!"

An eagle is awfully CGI'd in The Cabin in The Woods.

The Avengers - never using their code names, never saying avengers assemble (though I kinda get that one since they barely formed) too much focus on Iron Man.
[Show spoiler] Killing Coulson.

Dark Knight - Joker's makeup, how come it never seems to disappear? I mean really, he is at the police station, Gordon has time to go home and change and yet no one thinks to remove his makeup and get a good picture of him to figure out who he is?

Apocalypse Now Redux should've just left the plantation scene on the cutting room floor. Everything else it added is gold.

8 & 1/2 has those held frames in the opening scene that really irk me every single time I watch it. I swear one day I'm going to take those frames and animate some grain and a bit of film gating into them for my own viewing version.

Titanic - J. Bruce Ismay should have
[Show spoiler]died when the ship went down. It seems so unfair that he abandoned all of those helpless people-people that he was resonsible for in order to save himself. I know that is the way it happened in history but it still make me ill him doing this.

Goldeneye - Bond should have used his BMW more. The bit where he drove the car felt like just another car advert.
Pirates of the Caribbean: COTBP - Could have been better without the supernatural.
The Island - How come Laurent didn't see Lincoln put the bracelet on his sponsor?
Star Trek Into Darkness - Characters like Bones were somewhat underused. The ending was also rushed.
War of the Worlds - Why did it take the duration of the film for the Tripods to be brought down by birds?
Star Wars Episode III - the script could have been better written and Padmé's death was lame.

Fight Club - Its messages are delivered with the subtlety of a sledgehammer.

2046 - Probably 15 mins too long.
Metropolis - still missing fragments of footage.

Too bad Jamie Foxx can't grow a nice handlebar mustache, like his co-star, Colin Farrell.

The end of Casablanca sucks only because
[Show spoiler]Rick Blaine should have pulled Victor Laszlo out of the plane and left him for the Nazi's and took off with Ilsa Lund.
