That's what they're shooting for.

I praise myself every day for not buying region-locked discs, but these are so pretty.

And they are seriously pumping them out so fast, holy crap.

There never was an Alice steelbook/metalpak or viva. Only the Johnny Depp version got the ironpack.

You mean that you're buying this because you missed out on buying a version that doesn't exist?

This is Alice in Wonderland (1951) and the ironpak was the 2010 live action, Tim Burton film.

Artwork is up. Pretty nice though i was hoping for something a little more over the top. Seems like a fair bit of empty space on the sides there with most of the image focused to the centre. But still, very pretty ^-^

EDIT ~ Actually I just checked my bluray and it's the same cover, just looks like they've made it a slightly smaller scale on the steel?

It's annoying. They done nice looking The Little Mermaid and Wreck-it Ralph steels and an alright looking Jungle Book steel. But at least they were different. Since then all the Disney steelbooks have had the same artwork as the amarays and frankly its disappointing. It puts me off double dipping for these. They'd sell more i reckon if they differentiated the covers a little.

Well this is not an US one it is an UK one. And the Burton one did not have a US Steelbook, it had a Canadian one.

State the obvious and no need to be so arsey about it.

But the Burton AiW DID have a US steel, it was part of the same run as Snow White, Cars etc BB or FS. I believe Canada had a lot of the same titles as the US until Viva came out.

There's also a more recent German one

Least they are pushing the dates back a tad

Still wish they'd limit the Classics to 2 per month, max and one Pixar
