Australia H.G. Wells' The Time Machine (1960) (Release Date TBC)

It's finally coming.

I wonder how long it will be before it's released here in Australia. Now just waiting for The War Of The Worlds.

Has anyone read anything about the transfer? all I have read in other threads are people complaining about the cover art, they don't seem interested in the quality of the transfer ! This page https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-T...Blu-ray/56158/ doesn't even mention a restored or remastered edition.....

ScreenPrint have it listed for local release on July 16:
The Time Machine

EzyDVD did have it on their site too, but it seems to have disappeared, along with a couple of other Warner titles due out the same day (Get Carter, Point Blank).

I'm very keen to get this if the transfer is good. Will pass on my DVD to dad.

Picked up the american release of this and watched the other day, very nice transfer, good audio also, not alot in the way of extras, think they might of been carried over from the dvd release.

Has anyone seen this in stores or has it been delayed?

Nah bugger that. It's a Warner title, no need to import.

I gave up waiting and got it from the US too, along with Point Blank. Good discs, and about $16 each, which is not too bad.

I've had it in my Amazon wish list for quite a while and haven't yet purchased, but might wait for the release here when it finally arrives.
