Default Justice League Unlimited (Warner Archive Collection)

Justice League Unlimited: The Complete Series Blu-ray

[UPDATE: 7/10] WAC officially announced at their Comic-Con panel today that they plan to release Justice League Unlimited: The Complete Series on Blu-ray later in 2015. They gave no official release date, but answered a question on Twitter that said it would be before November.

Original story:

WAC updated their Tumblr with graphics from topics that will be covered at their Comic-Con session, and Justice League Unlimited was included.

I tweeted them about the picture. They favorited and responded with this:

Looks like we have confirmation, folks. We'll probably have a date next week. Young Justice was up for preorder just a couple of hours after they announced it at Comic-Con last year.

About friggin' time. Recently noticed that the Unlimited seasons were in HD on Netflix streaming, and was wondering if they'd ever come to Blu. Now, will they contain the extras from the DVD sets...?

Then why do you have them in your Blu-ray collection as "owned"?

Because I did not realize those were BDs. I thought those were the DVD versions. Does it really matter though?

Not really, but you can see where the confusion began.

Season one was animated in full screen, but desired to be aired in widescreen. You can zoom in without framing issues. It's fine either way to me.

But that is not Bruce Timm's preferred version. The way it was meant to be watched was in 16x9, not 4x3. I get why they did the 4x3 version on DVD, but the BD should have been 16x9 no questions asked. Also, the same goes for season 2. Even though it was released in 16x9, it wasn't made to format for a 16x9 screen, so there are black bars on all four sides.
