Default Dead Alive aka Braindead Criterion Edition

Who thinks this horror comedy gem from Peter Jackson would make a great Criterion BD?

It can have a new 2K, 3K or 4K restored/remastered transfer of the International Director's Cut with Jackson supervising and can have extras like commentary, documentary, interviews, deleted scenes, trailers, poster and still gallery, easter egg and all that as it needs a SE BD that can be better than the crappy washed out PQ BD from Lionsgate.

Why did you start a whole new thread for this? It's misleading. You could've just asked it in the criterion thread. Also Peter Jackson is supposedly restoring his first 3 movies once he's done with the hobbit movies. That's all we know(?) now.

Yeah, but he said that during the LotR trilogy, too; and while making King Kong. I remember when the special edition of Bad Taste came out people saying not to buy it because Jackson said in interviews he was going to come out with an uber-special edition of it soon.
Until he hits a brick wall in getting projects off the ground, I fear this will never happened.

I should had said, who wants Dead Alive aka Braindead in the Criterion collection?

Let's all write letters to Criterion to request to do a deal with PJ and restore the early films on BD.
