Columbia did the theatrical release in the US, but I don't see any US disc media info.

If this was a new release, I was thinking something might be going on where Blu and Univ is concerned...

Yeah.....blu-ray.com lists it as a Sony Pictures release.

IMDB lists it as a Columbia Pictures ( which is a Sony subsidiary).

BUT....it did say that Universal handled all NON-USA releases. So if you're not in America then I could see how this happened.

Well how about Norbit and Dreamgirls? I looked at the packages and they are both done by Dreamworks. Isn't THAT a part of Universal?

Paramount

Universal used to distribute DreamWorks, but had no input into the releases

When Universal releases on Blu-ray and they shove the 30 GB HD DVD transfers on 50 GB BDs, like we know they will, I hope they leave all of their "look and sound of perfect" HD DVD adds for shits and giggles.

The Holiday is on Blu-ray in the US and HD-DVD in the UK. Sony released it in the US, Universal released it overseas.
